With guidance from Mike Kevern of MK Consultancy I issued this Press Release to several publications.

Keith Kneebone was born in Dalton-in-Furness, a town to which his ancestors had moved in the mid 19th. century. He attended Dowdales County Secondary School and upon leaving, with a very modest handful of qualifications, began his employment in the Magistrates' Court Office in Barrow as an office clerk for the princely sum of £5.1s. (£5.05) per week. After a short while he joined thousands of other Furnessians at the region's largest employer - the local shipyard - as a wages clerk. However, for Keith, though very fond of the Lake District on his very doorstep, being stuck in the 'wild Northern wastes' of Lancashire was not for him so he, with a pal, moved to Leicester to seek his fortune. This move happened to be one of the best he ever made. He found independencs and over the next few years his career saw him move from office clerk to manager in differing spheres including engineering and wines & spirits. He got married in Burton-on-Trent and, in the 'home of British brewing' almost enivitably worked at a brewery - the famous Marston's - when redundancy reared its ugly head and it was at this point in his life he decided to become self-employed as a Toastmaster and put what his late mother had taught him (public speaking) to good use. He was building up a respectable reputation within the East Midlands when personal problems saw the break-up of his marriage. No matter what had happened during his varied life, Keith always felt that his heart belonged somewhere else and one night it dawned on him that that somewhere else was his beloved Cornwall. So in March, 2007 (the 12th. to be precise!) he moved 'back' to his ancestral home and has continued his self-employed lifestyle by re-naming his company, 'Kernow Courtesy'. As a spiritual person, it should come as little surprise that Keith is an active member f his local Methodist chapel, Camborne Wesley. As a business person, Keith recognises the need to network his business in a face-to-face environment. Kernow Courtesy aims to put people at ease by making the times they spend together worthwhile and rewarding so Keith spends a great deal of time meeting with potential clients and others at networking events. Notably, Keith is the official toastmaster of 'The Business League', a breakfast networking group who have a club, the 'Trevithick', which meets on a Friday in Camborne at the Lowenac Hotel, of which he is official group chairman. Please contact Keith if you have an important function that requires a professional compere or you run a hotel that wishes to capture his unique, friendly talents for its customers' benefits.
